Listing to the country radio stations can really make a trip seem a lot shorter than it is. Two songs in particular stood out, mainly for being played at least every hour, on every country radio station going. If you were cool enough, you could flip the station at the end of one track just in time to hear it start on another.
A couple of songs that always song good to me are one by Josh Turner and the other by Montgomery Gentry. Josh has a great deep voice and can really belt out a tune. Montgomery Gentry on the other hand has a great country rock sound to them. After my long trip I even tried to find some Josh Turner ringtones for my cell. The songs really stuck in my head.
A great way to listen to music is on SIRIUS Satellite Radio. This beats the radio since every 60 miles or so you need to find another country station. Sometimes you can maybe get 100+ miles out of one station but not always. SIRIUS Radio has over 170 channels and at least 5 of them play nothing but country music, including Josh Turner & Montgomery Gentry.
